  • La Crusc and the Armentara Meadows | Our favourite places!

  • Barbecue at a mountain hut
    Urban will take you up to one of the many private mountain huts, travelling either on foot, by chairlift or in the shuttle bus. Here you can enjoy the delights of tasty grilled meat and vegetables, apple strudel, delectable aperitifs and grappa.
  • Visit to the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park
    Starting from San Cassiano, path no. 11 takes you through the spruce woods of Plan de Furcia and the rocks of the Fanes Group up to Col de Locia, where you then continue on level ground across the Fanes pastures to Malga Gran Fanes. You walk on from here to Lake Limo, where it is well worth stopping for a while. The attraction of this hike is the extraordinary landscape, which has featured in many stories and legends.
  • “Tru di Lec” lake trail
    Are you looking for a cool and easy summer hike? This path takes you by the walls of the Gardenacia plateau, and through shady woods and green meadows, to the beautiful lakes known as Lech Dlá Lunch and Lech da Sompunt.
  • Towards the sun
    Watching the sun rise in the mountains is always a magical experience. The best place to enjoy this is the Sas de Stria in San Cassiano. N.B.: would you like to go on a hike at sunset as well? Then hike up to the Gran Cir at the Gardena Pass.

Skiing in the Alta Badia ski area

Up in the Badia ski lift, and you’re ready to go:
130 km of beautifully groomed slopes, direct access to the Sellaronda and the best location on the world’s largest ski carousel (the Dolomiti Superski). N.B.: a single ski pass gives you access to 12 ski areas, 450 ski lifts and 1,200 km of slopes. So, have you already booked your skiing holiday?

Ski touring day in Alta Badia

If you want to combine sport with pleasure, try the La Crusc ski tour. You start right below the Santa Croce massif and then follow some wide trails – ideal for families or beginners. Anyone interested in retracing the history of the last century can go ski touring on Mount Lagazuoi, a place of pivotal importance in the First World War. However, you won’t want to miss one of the world’s best-known ski circuits: the Sellaronda. It’s easy to reach, you can get there straight from the Alta Badia ski area.
